Euronext presenta offerta non vincolante su Borsa Italiana, Cdp e Intesa Sp in cordata

Euronext ha presentato un'offerta non vincolante al London Stock Exchange Group per acquisire Borsa Italiana. Lo annuncia in una nota, nella quale si precisa che della cordata fanno parte anche Cdp Equity e Intesa Sanpaolo. "Non c'è alcuna certezza l'offerta si possa concretizzare". Si verrebbe così a creare, prosegue la nota, "un operatore leader nei capital markets dell'Europa continentale, dove l'Italia sarebbe il principale contributore per ricavi del gruppo Euronext allargato. Questo progetto di trasformazione posizionerebbe efficacemente il gruppo appena costituito per realizzare l'ambizione di costruire ulteriormente la spina dorsale dell'Unione dei mercati dei capitali in Europa, sostenendo allo stesso tempo le economie locali".

Euronext confirms officially "the submission of a non-binding offer to London Stock Exchange Group plc to acquire Borsa Italiana, The partnership includes Cdp Equity and Intesa Sanpaolo. There can be no certainty that this will lead to a transaction. The proposed combination of Borsa Italiana and Euronext would create a leading player in continental European capital markets, where Italy would be the largest revenue contributor to the enlarged Euronext group. This transformational project would effectively position the newly formed group to deliver the ambition of further building the backbone of the Capital Markets Union in Europe, while at the same time supporting local economies".
