Rachid Mohamed Rachid granted Italian citizenship for special merits
The President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, has issued a decree granting Italian citizenship to Rachid Mohamed Rachid for his extraordinary merits. Alsara Investment Group reported this news. The official statement from the Presidency of the Republic mentions that the honour is granted "For entrepreneurial commitment, together with deep knowledge and sincere closeness to Italian culture always demonstrated, thus contributing to enhancing Italy's image in the world."
"I am honoured to receive this token of esteem from a country I have always believed in. Italy is an example of excellence and passion in every sector. I will continue to support Made in Italy, promoting the values we believe in talent, creativity, and innovation," said Rachid Mohamed Rachid, founder and owner of Alsara Investment Group and CEO of Mayhoola for Investments.
Italian citizenship for special merits follows the prestigious honour of "Knight of the Grand Cross, Order of Merit of the Italian Republic" conferred on Rachid Mohamed Rachid in 2010 by the then President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano.

From 2004 to 2011, Rachid served as Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investments for the Egyptian government, playing a key and internationally recognized role in supporting the country's economy and industrial sector and enhancing its attractiveness for foreign investments.
Rachid received the title of Knight of the Grand Cross, Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, one of the highest orders of merit in the country.
